Finding a good psychic reader

Everyone is psychic to one degree or another, and, as with musical talents, can improve these talents thorough training and practice. In any field you'll find a wide range of talent and experience and even a good reader can vary from day to day and person to person depending on their level of energy and attunement that day. Be wary of those who hang out a sign but are not connected to the community or promise to solve all your problems. Try several mini-readings at a psychic fair to see who you feel comfortable with.

What makes a good psychic is not simply accuracy in making predictions, but how effective he or she is in communicating that information in a useful and relevant manner. It is important to find a reader with whom you are comfortable. You should feel free and open about commenting and asking questions. Ask about the reader's background and credentials. How long have they been practicing professionally? What type of readings do they do? Does the psychic sincerely seem to be concerned with using her gift to help others? A good test is whether you would go to this person for spiritual advice if they were not a psychic or channel.
